What a weekend! I am glad it is over - but it was a lot of fun! We showed Mom and Dad around Pflugerville on Saturday evening. We got word on Saturday that the Crowder's got a potluck together for today and so...we had to stop at WalMart and get something. It turned out to be a great time of fellowship - our own little Fellowship Sunday. We had 15 in service today. We handled the whole service after praise and worship today and Karla sang. Tonight we joined in service with the Bernard's.
Thursday night, Karla got an email from Sis. Bernard asking Karla to sing in service tonight. She is crazy, you would have to read her email to understand. They called on Friday and asked me to preach - so I had the privilege of preaching in front of David Bernard! I caught myself checking all the theological items in my message before preaching...
It turned out well - God moved in a long shouting altar service (with Karla and Cameron playing) and a lady got the Holy Ghost. We went out to eat with the Shaw's (Associate Pastor) and two other couples who are just moving to Austin. One of the couples is starting a church in Cedar Park. They have all been to graduate school and talked about some things that I just nodded my head to and smiled. They told me to stay away from a Master's program - it can mess your mind up! I agree. We had a lot of fun and the boys enjoyed being with youth from their church.
We have a couple, who live in Pflugerville, who have asked Bro. Bernard to be able to come help us. They will retain their membership at the mother church, but be with us on Sunday mornings and maybe Wednesdays. They are interested in helping in any way they can. Bro. Bernard recommended them, so they should start next Sunday. The other couple who were there last week came again today and I think they plan on staying with us. Bro. Bernard will talk to them to make sure.
More to come....

My mom and dad really enjoyed the service at our little place. I was proud to get to introduce them!
And, as far as Nathan goes, he has always been messed in the head! JK
Love ya'll,
