We are blessed! This Wednesday was our last service in Wichita Falls. Bro. and Sis. Elms were so kind to honor us. He spent some time talking about us and then presented us with a card that had money enclosed! I could hardly read the card for the emotions that overcame me. It is hard to say goodbye after 41 years - 20 years of being on staff at the church! Karla spoke and then I rambled. The church gathered around us as a family and prayed - that is priceless. Bro. Elms was just about to let everybody go a reception they had prepared, when Bro. Lynn Dutton spoke up and said, "Wait, we forgot something!" (of course, it was planned that way) The side doors opened and they carried in an awesome keyboard with a stand. You would have to have seen the little, sad keyboard we have been borrowing to understand our excitement! We had been talking to Bro. James Cain about buying one, since he works in a music store, but we really didn't know how we were going to pay for it! Thank the Lord and the Life Tabernacle Sanctuary Choir for providing this need. We are so blessed! The reception was great and all of our friends were so kind.
We now are homeowners in Pflugerville. We bought it yesterday! We are staying in the Bernard's Church guest quarters, though, since we don't have our furniture here yet. We should be moving in a week from today!
One of the older ladies in our church (Sis. Faye) came forward for prayer about two weeks ago at church and stood in for her friend who had cancer. This past week, she found out that her friend's cancer in her lungs was gone!!! When they went in for surgery, there was nothing there!! Talk about a boost to her faith and all of ours! Sis. Faye has only had the Holy Ghost for a year. We are all blessed.

Gene and Karla,
Wish we could have been there this past Wednesday! I know all about those little, rinky-dinky keyboards, since we had to use one for about a year and a half. You guys are well deserving of it. Best wishes and prayers,
Keith and Carla
