Well, I am now an official REALTOR®! I have joined all the boards and organizations, attended orientation and have a Personal Productivity Coach. I will be attending Keller-Williams University every morning from 9-12 for the next month and a half! This will include setting goals, attending classes, participating in property tours, accountability and more. I will be conducting Open Houses for other agents until I get my own listings. I am a member of the National Association of Realtors, Texas Association of Realtors and Austin Board of Realtors. NAR! TAR! and ABOR! (Kind of sounds like the three Hebrew boys!)
I will be attending a class on Monday at ABOR for MLS (Multiple Listing Service) training. This is all very interesting to me. I have always been interested in the housing market. I guess I inherited it from my Dad and Mom! We used to go to Parade of Homes every year and then they built their own home, followed by 4 more over the next 20 years. I am excited to get started. Continue to pray for this new venture. We definitely need a successful one. I have to keep a balance between this and our new church start!If you know of anyone interested in listing or purchasing a home in the Austin area, put them in contact with me. Congratulations! Real Estate can take alot of time, but it is very rewarding work and a great way to meet new people, so it could work very well with introducing people to your church as well.
