As I mentioned in the previous post, last Saturday we had a Fall Garage Sale to benefit our building fund. The total profit now comes to $760.05. Not only did we make money, but we had a great time in fellowship! We laughed throughout the day as we are continuing to learn what to call everyone. Is it Bro. David or Bro. Gonser? When you are trying to think really fast and you are just getting to know one another - it takes a second to get the name right!

Everyone pitched in and helped. The ladies were trying to keep the tables straightened throughout the day and they did a great job! They also cooked homemade goodies to sell. We put them right next to the checkout and many people added a 50¢ treat to their total! Around 10am we started grilling hot dogs and the smell took them in. We sold ice-cold sodas and were amazed at how many people left with a "combo meal."

We had a trailer of "manly" junk and sold a ton of it. Bro. David (our grown-up Zachary Bennett) was an excellent salesman!

The youth enjoyed playing around with the merchandise!

At the end of the sale, we loaded everything up and took it to a local Christian charity. We also had a family visit last Sunday for the first time after coming to our sale!
Extra Notes:Chad had his first school friend in service this Wednesday! He came to America in 2004 from Vietnam and they have lived here in Pflugerville for 2 months. His Dad is a doctor and got hired here at a new hospital. Pray for Anh (
Awn).
Our church is sponsoring a Thanksgiving Dinner at the Lockhart Prison tomorrow. Please pray that this ministry will be blessed. Four ladies received the Holy Ghost in the prison service last Friday with 45 in attendance.
