Father's Day Sunday

I am so thankful for the power of God that was in our service yesterday! The Lord moved in a special way and victory was proclaimed. In our Men's Prayer this past Tuesday night, I really felt impressed that the Lord was wanting us to move to a new level in worship. I explained this to our church and they began to push. It was awesome!

Our sweet church presented me with a Father's Day card and gift certificate to Chili's. I never expected anything but felt honored by it.

We had a drawing for a prize, which Bro. Mike Crawford won. He was all excited about winning, but as this picture shows, he realized that his wife would really find some work for him to do with this new gadget! You can see the reaction of the church! LOL! It was great.

We also handed out "Payday" candy bars to every father. What father doesn't like a couple extra paydays?

My Dad was in town for the weekend and we enjoyed the time together - eating and talking! We didn't take pictures, but it was a good time. We ate at Catfish Parlour, grilled burgers and then on Sunday, enjoyed Asian food at Firebowl Cafe. Life IS all about eating - right?

Last night was Lindsey Bernard's surprise birthday party. We took her from the church with a tie to blind-fold her, drove around for a little while and then ended up at her house where everyone was. She is crazy and sweet at the same time!

Sis. Bernard was whipping up some cookies, so we kind of hung out in the kitchen! They are the best right out of the oven.... Life IS all about eating. LOL!

This is how my husband says it - "I eat recreationally." Eat to live or live to eat?!?!? LOL
