BROKE OUR RECORD- 51!!!!

Today, we were so excited to pass up our Easter attendance! Today was Friendship Sunday and the friends just kept coming in. We had 19 first-time guests with us and about half of them are good prospects to continue coming. We had one backslider refilled. She has been away from God for a good while and said it felt so good to be back! 9 of the first-timers were youth age and one is a child who will be attending our Sunday School each week. We have 60 chairs out, so you can imagine what it looked like to have 51 in our building.

One of our guests just got released from prison and is looking to change his life. He said he would definitely be back! He grinned all through the worship time and really sang with us. There is no better way to change than to give your heart to God! We will be praying and working for that.

We just had morning worship today (without Sunday School) and dressed casual. After service we had dinner on the grounds. The church provided fried chicken and everyone brought the fixin's. We stacked all the pew chairs, brought in tables and our old chairs to create a Fellowship Hall in the Sanctuary. It worked great!

We had an 18' inflatable slide, we played water balloon volleyball, and set up a game of horse-shoes. We had a great time together and of course, the water balloon volleyball did not last! It turned into a fight and then the hose got turned on! Good times. I got smacked with a balloon and it really felt good!
