My dear friends, Rodney & Stacy;
On Tuesday night at our Thanksgiving service, Gene challenged our church to pick someone in our life who has blessed us - whether they know it or not - and to let them know. You are the ones I thought of.
During a time of major change in our lives, you were the ones who were there when I felt the loneliest. I know you've named me "Sis. Fellowship" - but in many ways it is true. When we moved from Wichita Falls, I was very accustomed to being with people most of the time. Once we came to Pflugerville all that changed. Every time we were able to spend time with y'all meant more to me than you will EVER realize.
Your commitment to the church in Austin is remarkable, and we learned so much from watching you. The ministry you each have is amazing! Rodney, I can honestly say you are one of my favorite preachers. Stacy, your love and concern for me and all those around you is simply incredible. I know at any time I can call you for prayer and know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you will touch the throne of God for me.
You both impacted my life beyond words. I look forward to many years of friendship. I'm so thankful God brought us to Austin for many reason, but I'm especially thankful for the friendship we were allowed to develop with you both.
