Cookie decided to try out the pool at our new house on Friday night. I was out in the backyard and she was across the yard on the other side of the pool. All of a sudden, I hear a "kerplunk" and splashing! I turned around and Cookie was dogpaddling in the very deepest part! All I could think was, "OH, NO! I am going to have to jump into that freezing water!! YIKES!" Thankfully, she paddled over near the side and I rescued her. She was shivering and shook up! All I can imagine is that she thought it was something to walk on and she was coming my direction. Our other pool was an above-ground one, so there was no way for her to fall in.
I think she has learned her lesson. Just because she is a part of a Pentecostal family, it doesn't mean she can walk on water!

Poor baby. I'm sure she will remember next time.
LOL!!! Poor Cookie!
LOL! That's funny!
Bless her little heart! I'm sure she's learned her lesson.
If you would give her a bath once in a while, she wouldn't have to jump in the pool! :)
he he
Poor puppy! She looks so pitiful but I'm sure you all took good care of getting her dry and warmed up! *smile*
Congratulations on your new home! Your dog is very cute. At least you now know she is baptised, all she needs is just the Holy Ghost.
One night we heard a loud splash and ran outside and there was Dexter paddling along in the pool. He was jumping up along the wall on the deep end of the pool and fell in! Steve and I coaxed him down to the shallow end to the steps for him to get out. We had purposely put him in a few times with us in the pool to make sure he could swim to the steps. They say that you should teach a dog where the steps are in a pool so that they can get out. More dogs drown because they don't know where the steps are. I guarantee Cookie will steer clear of the pool from now on!
Congratulations on the new house! We are so excited for you all and all that God is doing in Wichita Falls!!
