Fundraising, Fun and Faith

Friday night was our Rock-A-Thon which benefits our North American Youth Congress trip. They had a great time rocking while playing games, visiting and watching some video on the overhead screen. Thanks to those of you who have helped in this fundraising endeavor - it is definitely appreciated! Kris and Kory Prince came to visit on Friday and left today. It was great fun! They had a time playing music on Friday night during breaks and afterwards. (Cameron had been playing a part as "Lil Joe" at the Bernard's church for VBS right before the rock-a-thon - hence the cowboy hat!)

The rain had stopped and the sun was out, so on Saturday we lowered the Jeep top and took a tour of the Austin area (with all four in the backseat!) Kory had been hanging his head out of the window like a dog!

We toured the Texas State Capitol.

Of course they tried to jump in a fountain on the capitol lawn!

We made a trip to the Guitar Center...

...and stopped by the Domain to see the iPhone.

Sunday was another great time. We had 39 in service, 5 brand new local guests and 6 return guests. A young lady was refilled with the Holy Ghost. Thank the Lord for his continued touch. There was such an awesome presence of God in the building when we walked in!

Wednesday, July 4th, we will have a Freedom Celebration with some singing, then a time of fellowship with homemade ice cream, door prizes and games. Have a great holiday week and we will see many of you at Jason and Julie's wedding! Yippee!
