As I listened to President Bush give the State of the Union address Tuesday night, I was again reminded of what an awesome country we live in. I may not agree with him on everything, but that's beside the point. He has taken a stand for what he believes is right and has not backed down in the face of strong adversity. You have to admire a man who stands up for his beliefs and who is not afraid to be a Christian in the White House.
I am proud to be an American, and I am proud to call George W. Bush MY President!

Any leader, whether it be of a country, a corporation, a church, or a family, who stands up for what they believe against popular opinion, is someone to admire. I agree whole-heartedly with your post!
I agree! It doesn't take much to "go with the flow," but it takes a lot more to stand for what you believe in. I'm glad he's MY President, too.
God bless OUR PRESIDENT! I'm proud of him for taking the stand he has taken against the nay-sayers. I love strong leadership! A man who will stand up and make known what he "believes in" and lives by his beliefs is a GREAT man! President Bush is to be commended for "who" he is.
