A vendor transports poultry to a market in Xiangfan, central China's Hubei province on January 22, 2007.
I got a chuckle out of looking at this picture I pulled off of a newswire! I got to thinking about these vendors trying to explain to someone how hard their job was. It would be quite a feat to keep these birds on this vehicle!! It looks like some of them may be dead already, but many of them look alert and anticipating a chance for freedom. Any bump would be a major cause for concern! I don't imagine it is a peaceful ride to the market. Whatever your job is, thank God. It could be worse...

Can you imagine the quacking and squawking that is going on?! LOL. Some of them look like they are enjoying the ride; others appear to be waiting for their escape.
WOW! I got a kick of think about many organizations I have been involved with like this. LOL.
First, getting all those people together. Second, some of them dead already (in thought and action). Third, many are waiting for their chance to escape (quit, another place, retire). Fourth, a bump (or change) would cause major concern or panic. And don't forget just alot of quacking going on.
And last, here you have a couple of leaders trying to get all of these with different plans and agendas to the same place using the same plan.
Thank God for leaders!
P.S. The guy in the picture is looking at the camera saying I really wanted to drive a firetruck or a train, or be an astronaut.
Carla - I imagine it would be a loud adventure!
Dan - I love your take on this! Isn't it amazing how one picture can bring to mind a whole organizational structure? Thanks for sharing your idea.
Ronda - I'm with you on that one! LOL
The noise, the smell, the possibility of BIRD FLU! AHHH! Thank God for America and the FDA!
The smell you say. Literally the birds will smell. Figurally, people do smell. Especially those attitudes when they are quacking. And like bird flu, it can get contagious. Again I say that God for Great Leadership like I have in WF, and the great leadership in Pflugerville and in Holister. Hope I spelled those right!
What else is there to say? Except, THANK GOD I'm not a "bird transporter"! I'd rather work with people any day! Thank you Dan for the compliment of "great leadership". Gene, I love the picture. It gives a person a lot to be thankful for.
You know, there are times that I have felt like I MUST have been driving that motorcycle! Especially when I have been surrounded by new tellers that are under the age of 25! Talk about a lot of quacking!!!**big grin***
