Life Tabernacle's annual Christmas for Christ service was last night and what a night! We had a blow-out for a while where one of our beautiful young ladies came back to God. God did a sovereign work. We then watched the video from Home Missions and began the tradition of each family bringing their greatest gift to Christ. We watched and prayed for each family as they came and dropped their gift in the manger, lit a candle and placed it on a United States shaped board representing a church being planted somewhere in North America. Their gifts included a prayer request that each family wanted to see happen in 2009. We followed it with the whole church family gathered around an uplifted manger overflowing with gifts, praying for laborers to be sent into the harvest and for the needs of our church family.
The gifts added up to $10,700! Thank the Lord for the opportunity to be a part of something greater than ourselves. We are thankful to be a part of planting churches - and some by our own church family. The Clark's in Quitman, Texas, the Mathew's in Fort Worth, Texas, the Prince's in Bullard, Texas and soon-to-be on location, the Bean's in Seattle, Washington. Tabernaculo de Vida is in the process of being planted right here in Wichita Falls for the Spanish-speaking community. We believe in it.

YES! I'm so happy for the excellent offering given again this year!!! Life Tabernacle has always been a giving to church and we've enjoyed the Christmas for Christ Service through the years! I missed being there this year. Love you all!
I am glad you got some good pictures! My kids were still talking about their giving this morning. I am glad you posted how much now I can share with them how there pennies,nickels,and dimes all add up into a great amount for Gods Kingdom! They even commented this morning again you can't out give God....then Mason said one day we will get enough money for a Wii...then Madison said hey God could let us win won then we could use the rest of our money to help Bro. Prince. Bro. & Sis Holley Thank you for being so sensitive to our children and helping us train them with a giving sweet spirit of outreach!

What a beautiful time we had last night in the presence of the Lord! It just feels good to be able to give for the cause of souls!! The total is amazing!
WONDERFUL!!! It is an awesome thing to be able to receive a portion of the funds from CFC, but it is even MORE of a blessing to be able to give to others in need.
We haven't had our service yet. I'm looking forward to it!
