Urgent Request

For any of the readers of this blog who are not aware, I am posting this urgent request.

One of our missionary kids, Timothy Simoneaux, has been hospitalized with bacterial meningitis and is in desperate need of our unified prayers for his healing. He is the nephew of our friends, Kent & Tracie Smith. Tracie has updates on her blog with specific prayer requests.

The latest request sent from WNOP is: "Timothy (Timo) Simoneaux, son of Tremayne and Vicki Simoneaux, missionaries to Zimbabwe, Malawi and Mozambique, has bacterial meningitis and remains very critical. He has been transported via an air ambulance to South Africa."

To read the heartbeat of Timo, please visit his blog. My heart was deeply touched by his prayer for the children of southern Africa. The African children NEED him and his passion for them.

Please keep this entire family in your prayers over the next few days and watch Tracie's blog for any updates. Thank you!!

Thank you Karla for your prayers and concern! It means so much to me. You know I have posted I'm not super outgoing and etc. Blogging really stretched me. I now KNOW why I started it...for such a time as this. I would be insane this far from my nephew in his condition. This has helped me stay such a part. Vicki requested we keep it up-to-date. This morning hdq called to inquire about giving my blog address. I have felt like I was there in a strange sense with all the
'traffic' today. Again thank you for helping to bear my burden. I love you!

We have been praying for him since we read about this yesterday. I looked at his blog also, and what heart for the things of God this little boy has!

Karla, can you have your church pray today? His b/p is bouncing and fever is up. Vicki is discouraged somewhat. Thanks!

Yes, Tracie - we will pray specifically.
