It always seems that Chad falls asleep in the car within minutes. We had only been in the car for about 5 minutes on our way to church tonight in this picture and he was already out! There were many times when he was a baby that we would just put him in his car seat and take a drive to get him to go to sleep. His driving days are not too far away, so it makes me wonder if he will be able to stay awake if the trip takes more than 3 or 4 minutes?! If you were able to take a trip this holiday weekend... stay awake and have a great Memorial Day!

I hate to admit it, but I'm the same way. I don't know if it's the motion of the car or what, but I tend to get pretty sleepy when I'm in the car, too. It does help if I have someone to talk to or have music playing. I'm sure Chad will be too excited to sleep when he starts driving. That's what usually happens with teenagers. It's hard to believe Chad's driving days are right around the corner. Wow, they grow up so quickly!!
Kim is like that too! Half the time, she falls asleep on the way to church on Sundays!
His cousin, Taylor, does the same thing! Have a great weekend!!!

I can relate to Chad. I normally fall asleep in the car when we go out to mom and dad's house. Thankgoodness Eddie always drive.
